We are hiring 5–6 reliable event staff for a private wedding reception on 6/20/2026 in Ogden. This is a one-night paid hospitality role supporting plated dinner service and event cleanup.
This role is well-suited for experienced servers, catering staff, bartenders, or responsible individuals comfortable working in a formal event environment.
Responsibilities
Serving plated meals to guests at assigned tables
Delivering food trays during dinner service
Refilling water glasses and assisting guest needs as required
Clearing plates during and after dinner service
Assisting with light cleanup and bussing after dinner
Following direction from the lead coordinator for timing and service flow
Dress Code (Formal)
Formal event attire is required.
Black dress pants or formal slacks
White or black button-down shirt or formal blouse
Clean, polished, professional appearance required
Jeans, sneakers, casual tops, or informal attire are not acceptable.
Schedule Overview
6:00–6:30 PM: Setup, briefing, and station assignment
6:30–7:30 PM: Cocktail hour support and water service
7:30–8:30 PM: Plated dinner service
8:30–11:00 PM: Bussing, cleanup, and dish support
Requirements
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working on your feet for several hours
Ability to follow direction in a fast-paced event setting
Prior serving or catering experience preferred but not required
Must be 18+

This is a private wedding (not a restaurant shift)
Food is pre-prepared and staged for service
Clear instructions and table assignments will be provided
Lead coordinator will be on-site for direction and support
